Abstract

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is now in the early stages of development of a long‐term plan for its research activities in geophysics and geodynamics for the years beyond 1991. The purpose of this article is to make the scientific community aware of possibilities for NASA involvement in geophysics and geodynamics during this period, starting from the position we have reached after twenty years of involvement in space applications to geodesy and geodynamics.
