Abstract

Objective To explore the role of multi- media health education in improving the rate of primipara breastfeeding. Methods In our hospital 200 primipara were randomly divided into observation group and control group. The primipara in observation group received multi- media health education plus routine health teaching, and the primipara in control group received routine health education. Results The primipara in observation group were superior to those in control group in knowledge and skill of breastfeeding. Conclusions Multimedia health education can improving the learning enthusiasm of primipara, ensure the content of health education standardization, and improve effectiveness of health education and working efficiency of nurse.
