Abstract
SAIC has been central to the development of several middleware frameworks that support interoperability and distributed operations of disparately developed applications. These include the Defense Modeling and Simulation Office (DMSO) High Level Architecture Run-time Infrastructure (HLA RTI) which was developed to support interoperability between virtual simulations, and the Test and Training Enabling Architecture (TENA) which enables interoperation between assets on instrumented ranges through the formation of ‘Logical Ranges’. This talk will discuss the relationship between these architectures and the network-centric paradigm now being discussed and developed throughout DoD. 1 Infotech@Aerospace 26 29 September 2005, Arlington, Virginia AIAA 2005-7112 Copyright © 2005 by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Inc.
