Abstract
Introduction. Instability in the country, active military operations, complexities of the economic and political environment – all this creates serious obstacles to the usual rhythm of business activity. Domestic enterprises face a variety of problems: rising prices for raw materials, interruptions in access to light and other critical communications, logistical difficulties, partial or complete loss of customers and consumers, shortage of personnel, damage to production and critical infrastructure, lack of working capital. In this context, it is important to have strong international partners. The purpose of the paper is to study the role of international partners in the functioning of Ukrainian enterprises and to identify the directions of their influence on the stabilization and expansion of domestic business. Results. International partners are important for Ukrainian enterprises in times of war. The roles they play are financial support, access to markets and resources, expert support and advice, political and diplomatic support, support for logistics networks, economic integration, cultural exchange and cooperation, technological exchange and innovation. Financial assistance is essential to overcome the economic difficulties associated with martial law. Expert support and consultations provide the necessary professional guidance. Cultural exchange contributes to building strong mutual understanding and cooperation for rapprochement at the level of different countries. Gaining access to international markets and resources opens up new opportunities for Ukrainian companies outside the domestic market. The maintenance and development of logistics networks contribute to the efficient supply and transportation of goods, which is critical during military operations. Economic cooperation promotes the development of new promising directions. Support at the diplomatic and political levels is essential for establishing and maintaining an enabling legislative environment. The exchange of technologies and innovations bring new approaches to solving modern challenges. Conclusions. The conditions of war create challenges for business, so international partners are important allies for Ukrainian companies in confronting the challenges of martial law. Cooperation with international partners appears to be an integral part of the strategy to face these challenges, and the roles of cooperation cover different directions.
