Abstract

Menstrual disorders affect up to 30% of women of reproductive age, and they can have a significant impact on their quality of life. Hysteroscopy is frequently used to assess and treat endometrial pathology, which can cause abnormal uterine bleeding. There is growing evidence that hysteroscopy is an essential tool in the outpatient management of patients. This chapter deals with theevidence surrounding the role of hysteroscopy in a range of menstrual disorders.
