Abstract

Since the discovery of the Staebler-Wronski effect (SWE) the correlation with hydrogen has been pointed out by many workers. In this work, the optically detected electron nuclear double resonance (ODENDOR) experiment has been carried out for the purpose of elucidating microscopically the electron-hole recombination process and the role of hydrogen in the mechanism of the SWE. The SWE is suggested to correlate with the Si-H bond clusters.
