Abstract

The purpose of this research is to provide knowledge to the academic community, especially students, and the community regarding the 4th Sustainable Development Goals indicator with indicator 4.7 regarding ensuring that all students obtain the knowledge and skills needed to improve sustainable development. This research uses qualitative methods through depth interviews. The results of this research show that the role of university and students have the important role in building community skills in ecopreneurship. This research also shows the importance of collaboration between universities, foundations that support ecopreneurship activities, and the community in building an ecopreneurship ecosystem which aims to create community capabilities in entrepreneurship, and substantially increase their ability to obtain decent work while still paying attention to the environment.
