Abstract

The Blueprint for Youth Suicide Prevention1 provides education and guidance to support health professionals to identify, respond to, and reduce the risk of suicidal ideation, self-harm, and suicide risk in young people. The report was developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the America Foundation for Suicide Prevention, in collaboration with the experts from the US National Institute of Mental Health, in response to the national state of emergency in children's mental health across the USA.
