Abstract
Objective: Adrenocortical cancer (ACC) is a rare and highly malignant disease. First evidence indicates that FDG-PET is of diagnostic value in staging of patients with ACC. As resection of local recurrence or metastases has been shown to be of therapeutic value in ACC, early detection of tumor relapse and metastases is of great clinical importance. We here have analysed the value of FDG-PET scans in staging of patients with ACC.
