Abstract

In an era dominated by technological advancements and increasing reliance on digital infrastructure, the formulation of effective and secure Cyber-security policies has emerged as a critical concern for governments, organizations, and individuals alike. This review paper delves into the under-explored nexus between ethics and Cyber-security policy development, shedding light on the pivotal role ethical considerations play in shaping resilient and socially responsible Cyber-security strategies. Through a comprehensive analysis of existing literature, case studies, and ethical frameworks, this review unveils the multifaceted ethical dimensions underpinning the Cyber-security landscape. It investigates the ethical imperatives driving the need for secure policies and explores the ethical dilemmas inherent in decision-making processes.
