Abstract
The article illustrates the role of entrepreneurial and agricultural entities in the economy, particularly their contribution on employment and diversification of economy in Azerbaijan. In addition, the paper emphasizes on the importance of diversification of economy through stimulating non-oil sector in particular agricultural sector. Moreover, it contains vast information on the share of non-oil sector on the GDP, the current reforms held on in order to improve business environment and rating positions of Azerbaijan by the international organizations.
