Abstract

21st Century single people are facing emotions related problems; emotions seem to rule our daily lives. We make decisions based on whether we are happy, angry, sad, bored, or frustrated. We choose activities and hobbies, based on the emotions they incite. In addition to understanding exactly what emotions are, researchers have also tried to identify and classify the different types of emotions. In 1972, psychologist Paul Eckman suggested that there are six basic emotions that are universal throughout human cultures: fear, disgust, anger, surprise, happiness, and sadness. In 1999, he expanded this list to include a number of other basic emotions including embarrassment, excitement, contempt, shame, pride, satisfaction, and amusement.Successful leadership is not about intellectual ability or technical expertise; it is about personal characteristics and human qualities that include empathy and compassion, flexibility, and influence. Today's leaders must have the ability and flexibility to adapt to an ever-changing workforce, and it's these human abilities that set apart successful leaders. Emotional intelligence has become as important as, if not more important than, intellectual quotient (IQ) and cognitive abilities.Simply put, emotional intelligence is that something within us that help us to sense how we feel and enables us to truly connect with others and form a bond. It gives us the ability to be present and listen to someone when they most need it. And emotional intelligence is that sense of internal balance within us that enables us to keep our composure, make good decisions, communicate successfully, and maintain effective leadership even when under stress.Causes of emotional issuesThere is no clear answer to this question, but it is likely that one or more of these factors are involved:* The severity of the event;* The individual's personal history (which may not even be recalled);* The larger meaning the event represents for the individual (which may not be immediately evident);* Coping skills, values and beliefs held by the individual (some of which may have never been identified);* The reactions and support from family, friends, and/or professionals.Symptoms of emotional IssuesOne can know that adolescents and adults are facing so many emotional problems that can be due to many reasons lies in their personal, family and working life. This attracts the attention of researcher and decision to go in this direction. Emotional Intelligence embraces and draws from numerous other branches of behavioural, emotional and communications theories. Rodney (2000) reported the positive influence of hardiness on the coping system by improving secondary appraisal. Positive effects by modifying the perception of stressful events have also been verified in nursing students (Pagana, 1990). By developing our Emotional Intelligence in these areas and the ten Emotional intelligence domains ones can become more productive and successful at what ones do, and help others to be more productive and successful too. which in turn impacts business performance. In the absence of El, the influence of customer satisfaction on business performance is relatively lower. It can be said at this point that organisational performance is stemmed from service delivery or quality (Rahim & Malik, 2010; Rehman et al., 2012), the process and outcomes of Emotional Intelligence development also contain many elements known to reduce stress for individuals and organizations, by decreasing conflict, improving relationships and understanding, and increasing stability, continuity and harmony. For example, a Swedish study reported that 80% of the nurses had high or very high levels of stress (Peterson et al., 1995). The effect of stress has been considered an important cause of decreasing health and reduction in the level of efficiency of nursing (Kendrick, 2000).Aim and objective of the studyTo study the relationship between emotional intelligence with personality. …
