Abstract

AbstractThe proposed paper draws attention on the topic of Economic Intelligence (EI) to elaborate how dynamic capabilities and digitalization are able to lead to increased competitiveness, effective information management and environmental monitoring. It is essential for companies in emerging economies to constantly absorb external information and apply latest technological advances to keep up with today’s competitive environment. In a universe in perpetual change, there is constant need for strong strategies for a firm to evolve. Through the unification of coordinated actions such as research, information storage and circulation and market anticipation, a firm can become economically intelligent. In other words, companies can achieve Economic Intelligence by developing strong dynamic capabilities that imply latest technologies.
