Abstract
Celiac trunk aneurysms are a rare and unusual pathology, accounting for roughly 4% of all splanchnic aneurysms; fewer than 180 cases have been reported since 1745. Early recognition of splanchnic aneurysms is crucial because of the operative mortality rate associated with ruptured splanchnic aneurysms. Duplex ultrasound in this case study has proven to be sensitive and specific in the detection of celiac aneurysms.
