Abstract

The results of microscopic calculations of dipole resonances in 32S and 34S nuclei obtained on the basis of a “particle-finite nucleus state” using the spectroscopic factors of a nucleon pick-up reaction are presented. The conditions for the applicability of this approach to obtaining a realistic picture of a photo-excitation cross section are discussed.
