Abstract

This paper discusses databases in learning and their necessity for improved effectiveness of the learning process. With examples in a school setting, the advantages and some disadvantages of using them in the education sector are introduced. Strategies for maximizing their benefits and recommendations for their future development are included. Here we also see an example of an already successful implementation of databases in Bulgaria. Future trends in database technology in education are presented, as well as measures to protect personal information. These lines emphasize student development and progress, with the implementation of databases and their use in learning as a key factor.
