Abstract

The most commonly used parameterizations of the Yukawa couplings in the two Higgs doublet model are revisited. Some bounds on the parameter space of the charged Higgs sector of the two Higgs doublet model are obtained in a new parameterization, which is slightly different from that already known. These constraints are obtained from flavor observables such as the measurement of B → Xsγ and the recent measurement of Bs → μ+μ− from LHCb. The ratio is evaluated for the type-III and type-II two Higgs doublet models, and their differences are quantified.
