Bioinformatics plays a crucial role in various aspects of drug discovery, drug metabolism, and pharmacology. In drug discovery, bioinformatics enables the efficient analysis and interpretation of large-scale biological data, facilitating target identification, lead compound optimization, and prediction of drug-target interactions.
