Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has evolved rapidly in the last century. Once a futuristic concept with negative connotations, AI has now begun to permeate various fields, reaching academic and scientific writing. In scientific writing, AI applications promise to significantly improve writing accuracy, provide quality control, and thereby enhance manuscript evaluation, among other possible contributions.
