Abstract
Abstract: Climate change is one of the most pressing challenges of the 21st century. The complexity and scale of climate systems require advanced tools for effective analysis and prediction. Artificial Intelligence (AI), with its ability to process vast amounts of data and identify patterns, holds significant potential to enhance climate change research. This paper explores the various applications of AI in climate science, evaluates the current capabilities, and discusses future prospects and challenges. The integration of AI into climate research can lead to improved climate models, better predictions of extreme weather events, and more effective climate mitigation and adaptation strategies.
