Abstract
Artificial Intelligence is one of the interdisciplinary branches of science that influenced most of the current technologies. It has positively transformed almost many domains from health care to agriculture through a plethora of applications. On the other hand, smartphones are becoming the easiest accessible device even in the suburban regions of under developing countries. It is not surprising that the mobile app industry is thriving with around 3.2 billion Smartphone users worldwide. The use of apps and smartphone penetration is constantly growing, without any signs of a slowdown. On average, 88% of the time spent on a mobile phone is consumed by mobile apps. Merging both artificial intelligence and smartphone apps can resolve many at most necessary concerns. In this chapter, we discuss many such intelligent mobile applications which are nurtured by Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms. Artificial intelligent algorithms sophisticate the mobile apps in the early prediction of disease symptoms for Stroke and Melanoma, which are crucial in saving the lives of many patients. It also helps to classify the commonly occurring skin infections and plant leaf diseases with just the images of infected spots taken from user’s smartphones; as a result, treatment at the right time is assured. Prediction of hypoglycaemia medical conditions is a significant breakthrough in the health care domain, accomplished by user-friendly intelligent apps. Pacemaker and defibrillator are the electronic devices implanted in Arrhythmia patients to monitor the heartbeat. Detecting these above-mentioned devices (during an emergency) using chest radiograph images is feasible using intelligent mobile apps. Temperature scan is a well-known screening technique for coronavirus disease-2019, but unfortunately, the chances of fever are very high in non-coronavirus diseases. Cough sound screening intelligent mobile application can maximize the accuracy of finding coronavirus disease-2019-infected person.
