Abstract

Allergic disorders, including asthma, allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, and atopic dermatitis, represent a significant health and socioeconomic burden. The prevalence of allergic disorders appears to be increasing around the world. Furthermore, the morbidity from these disorders accounts for significant lost work and school days as well as impairment that leads to decreased productivity at work, home, and school. Atopy is an important factor in the development of asthma. Critical to atopy is the production of allergen-specific IgE [1].KeywordsAtopic DermatitisAllergic RhinitisAllergic AsthmaAsthma ExacerbationSevere Allergic AsthmaThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
