Abstract

This article is devoted to the role of a work coach in the employment process of people with disabilities. The purpose of the article is to present the role of a job trainer in the process of employing people with disabilities, because this issue in relation to the functioning of people with disabilities, when it comes to their employment seems to be little known. The article focuses on the issue of disability. Attention is paid to the important role that work plays in the life of a person with disabilities. The principles of employing an assisted employee with a disability are presented. The essence of supported employment was also presented. The article also presents the tasks of a job trainer and his competences. The main differences in the specificity of work of an employment trainer and vocational counselor were indicated. A research report was presented on how the employment trainer works in practice.
