Abstract

When medical volume data stored and transmitted on the Internet, it is vulnerable to a variety of attacks like compression, rotation, scaling, etc. For the sake of the authentication and protection of medical volume data, a robust watermarking algorithm has been proposed in this paper. The scheme obtains the visual feature vector of volume data using a part of sign sequence of 3D-DFT coefficients. The watermarking is scrambled by Logistic Map to strengthen its confidentiality. By combining the zero-watermarking concept and the third part concept, we can make the watermarked image robust to common and geometrical attacks. The experiment results showed that the proposed algorithm had good invisibility and robustness.
