Abstract

The related ritual and aesthetic perspectives of electoral law are explored to understand the social and anthropological position of elections. Attention to the ritual and aesthetic dimensions of the structure of elections enhances the descriptive understanding of their legalistic process, which involves the role of these traditional perspectives in voting and the place of money in elections.
