Abstract

Induction of labour (IOL) is a topical subject at present, with many studies commenting on IOL outcomes in different groups over the past years. Whilst universally agreed that IOL rates appear to be rising, it is unclear as to what extent these rates have risen, and what the increasing IOL rates are secondary to. This study examines the trend in induction rates over an 8 year period from 2013 to 2020 inclusively, and aims to explore reasons for IOL within our centre.
