Abstract
Observations on the growth of the current pulses of electron avalanches in nitrogen, dry air and humid air, for pd-values in the range 100 to 2300 mmHg cm, are reported. A possible explanation for the delayed rise-time of the pulses in nitrogen and dry air is suggested.
