Abstract

In the article, senior lecturer Yordanov analyzes the protection of the rights of crime victims by the police authorities. The injured person is not always aware of what rights and means he has when a crime has been committed to him in order to be able to defend himself fully. The rights of the victim of crime are part of human rights. This means that their rights must be seen in the context of the characteristics of human rights, therefore the fundamental characteristics of human rights also manifest in the rights of victims of crime.
