Abstract

The right to the city aims to guarantee human dignity through access to the city and its services, seeking democratic management of the territory. This concept was born in social movements and then embraced by the academic community, which does not mean that one knowledge is superior to the other. With this in mind, this article reflects on and analyses the virtual forms of mobilization and communication of the urban social movement Frente dos Moradores Prejudicados da Bacia do Una, seeking to understand its way of communicating and analysing how it can help in the struggle to guarantee the right to the city.
