Abstract
In this paper, we construct all solutions of the Riemann problem of the self-similar Zeldovich-von Neumann-Döring (SZND) combustion model for the pressure gradient system in gas dynamics. By investigating the temperatures along the SZND burning solutions, we prove that all the detonation solutions of the Chapman-Jouguet model are the limits of the solutions as the reaction rate goes to infinity.
