Abstract
The computation of $\ensuremath{\rho}=\frac{{m}_{W}^{2}}{{m}_{Z}^{2}{cos}^{2}{\ensuremath{\theta}}_{W}}$ for two different models is performed. The heavy-Higgs-boson and the techni-$\ensuremath{\rho}$ contributions are considered in next-to-leading order. The two results are found opposite in sign, although too small to be detected experimentally at present.
