Abstract

AbstractTwo species of Rheumaptera occur in North America: R. hastata (Linnaeus) and R. subhastata (Nolcken). All stages of the two species are described and illustrated. Keys are given to separate the species in the adult and mature larval stages. Additional information on distribution (supplemented by maps), habits, and hosts is provided.
