Abstract
Considerable interest has developed in recent years in polymer mixturen and in fibres processed from them» the reason being that this is a simple and effective method of producing modified fibres /1/. Extensive tests have been carried out with fibre-forming mixtures containing cellulose acetate /2/~ polyacrylonitrile /3/» chlorinated polyvinyl chloride /4/» etc. The literature contains no information relating to the use of mixtures of rigid-chain polymers.
