Abstract
This book represents the proceedings of an International Symposium on the Prevention and Treatment of Rh Immunization. The papers are divided into four groups. Of these, the first deals with the prevention of Rh immunization, the second with the antepartum assessment of those patients with Rh immunization, the third with the intrauterine treatment of the fetus, while the fourth has to do with various special problems as they relate to Rh hemolytic disease of the newborn. The contributors are authorities in their areas and the subjects are covered in great detail. This book is not recommended for readers who are looking for basic information on Rh immunization. Rather the subject matter is advanced and is brought up to date by the participants. This book is a recommended summary of the advancing knowledge in the prevention and treatment of Rh immunization.
