Abstract
This article establishes the date of the stamp impressions with a retrograde-F-shaped yh(d) monogram in the late Hellenistic period, based on a clearly-stratified deposit of pottery vessels sealed at the bottom of a reservoir at ancient Suba (Kibbutz Tzova). The paper discusses the palaeography of the stamp impression, proposes a new reading, proffers a new theory on the shape of the seal or die used—all within the general analysis of the diverse Yehud stamp impressions.
