Jennifer Chapman examines how Ghana has become part of a global market for breast milk substitutes with organizations and individuals in Ghana joining a global civil society. She looks at Ghanaian membership of two international networks for the promotion and protection of breast feeding as an example of civil society and community responses to globalization.
