Abstract

AbstractThe rapid development of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies has affected all fields of society. The combination of artificial intelligence and education has also received unprecedented attention. Under the promotion of policies, the application of artificial intelligence in education in China has also been greatly developed. This research follows the literature review research method proposed by Lawrence and Brenda, and reviews the domestic literature on the application of artificial intelligence in education. The main findings are as follows: 1) the typical technologies of the application of artificial intelligence in education include machine learning, knowledge map, natural language processing, robot and intelligent control, etc. At the same time, researchers also pay attention to the combination of artificial intelligence and virtual reality technology, big data, 5G and other emerging technologies; 2) The application of artificial intelligence in education can promote teachers’ precision teaching and students' personalized learning; 3) The application of artificial intelligence in education not only brings benefits to teaching and learning, but also produces some ethical and safety issues.KeywordsArtificial intelligence in educationAIEDApplication of AIED
