Abstract

This thesis indicates the significance and feasibility of virtual pavilion in today’s development of exhibition industry, and analyze the necessity and urgency of establishing and improving virtual pavilion as Internet technological advances rapidly in China and exhibition industry has taken on a tendency of internationalization. Besides, it reveals the elements and design principles of system construction and design communication of virtual pavilion in China's exhibition industry, which mainly contains eight sections: introduction of organizers, information about attendance and visit, news of exhibition, cooperation units’ presentation, introduction to virtual pavilion, e-commerce platform, business information and forum communication. In addition, this thesis points out the design philosophy of content planning and coordinating interaction design.
