Abstract

Principle of brake is a unity of energy converter and heat exchanger. This paper makes a theoretical analysis about the temperature rise of crane brake. Brake temperature of the crane is one of the main factors causing brake failure, while considering its measuring characteristics of coating and dynamic, the conventional infrared measurement schemes cannot meet the requirements. Adopt the surface coating technology; it can change the surface properties of brake counterpart to increase material emissivity. The author puts forward an infrared temperature measurement scheme based on one kind of Nanostructure ceramic functional coating whose name is Cr203, analyses the influence on temperature measurement accuracy caused by design and selection of the infrared temperature measuring point's location; finally, it improves the infrared temperature measurement system of the brake.
