Abstract

Aiming at the problem of high peak voltage at two ends of direct current (DC) torque motor with large inductance that during the pulse width modulation (PWM) control process, the original H-bridge PWM control method, the current flow and the main reason of peak voltage have also been analyzed. Based on the analysis, a new H-bridge PWM control method has also been advanced and undertaken the contrast experiment by a self-build experimental platform. According to the results, the new PWM control method can reduce the peak voltage that between the motor ends' significantly.
