THE REPRESENTATION OF METAPHORICAL MODELS IN POLITICAL DISCOURSE

Abstract

The political relationships modernization, the modern society democratization and the political movement of the integration processes led to the mental spaces changes. The correlation of language and social reality, language and ideology are taken under constant attention in modern linguistics.The paper is devoted to the correlation of language and social reality, language and ideology that are taken under constant attention in the modern linguistics. The actual direction of the researches in this sphere is political discourse analysis. The problem of the present and the future “EUROPE” and the European association is taken under special linguistic research. The central concept EUROPE that forms the new ideology is being gotten the deep metaphoric comprehension. The article is focused on the peculiarities of English European integration political discourse concepts. The first attempt is done to analyse the concept EUROPE as a linguistic phenomenon and to get a multifaceted overview of it.Some semantic peculiarities of this concept are revealed. Thus the range of European Integration metaphors reflects the different projects of our life substitute actions – the real sum upon creating the new society without wars, where the culture of each country will be saved. On the other hand, the global integration of European society, unification in the political structure, that will be peace guarantor, leads us out to the new understanding of NEW EUROPE and metaphoric comprehension of the concept EUROPE.
