Abstract

Aimming at the demand of China's remote medical monitoring, a scheme of a human health remote monitoring system based on ZigBee technology and ARM chip is designed. In this system, the signal from human is transmitted to the mobile terminal equipment --PDA through the ZigBee wireless network. The physiological signal detected is passed to the remote monitoring platform using GSM/WCDMA digital mobile communication system, which realizes the remote medical monitoring for patients at home. The experiment results show that the system has a stable performance, good mobility and can achieve real-time monitoring to the patient's health status.
