Abstract

In Mobile Medical Care System, a sensor electronics module permits the acquisition of different physiological parameters and their online transmission to the handheld via Bluetooth. The reliable transmission of data via Bluetooth plays an important role in real-time data acquisition system and precision medical service. In order to ensure reliability of Bluetooth data transmission, this paper proposes a structure mode for Bluetooth transmission of medical data, based on the characteristics of wearable medical sensor's data collection mode and the static and dynamic environment while frequency interference between Wi-Fi and Bluetooth exists. This method integrates medical data compression and encryption. Simulation results show that: the real-time and reliable performance of this method can be widely used in data transmission of wearable medical devices.
