The relevant nursing for foot ulcer wound in patients with serious type 2 diabetes mellitus

Abstract

Objective To study the different effects of two kinds of methods of changing the medicine for foot ulcer wound in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods From January 2012 to April 2014,80 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in our hospital were selected and divided into observation group and control group according to different kinds of the methods of changing the medicine. Each group had 40 cases. insulin mixture constantly hydropathic compress was used in the observation group and the control group received the routine method. Curative effects and the ulcer healing time of two groups were compared. Results Efficient rate of observation group was as much as 90.0%, significantly higher than that of control group; The patients of observation group whose foot ulcer healing time was obviously shorter than that of the control group, the difference had statistical significance(P< 0.05). Conclusions For the treatment of diabetic foot ulcer, two methods have achieved very good curative effects, on the basis of regular treatment, increased insulin mixture constantly hydropathic compress not only can improve treatment effect but also shorten ulcer healing time.
