Abstract

Enthalpies of dilution of aqueous solutions of the dipeptides L-alanyglycine and DL-alanylglycine have been measured at 298.15 K and used to obtain the relative partial molar enthalpy L 1 of water in the solutions. The partial molar volumes of the dipeptides, obtained from density measurements at 298.15 K, are also reported. The results are compared with those for glycyl-L-alanine solutions.
