Abstract

This article analyzes the stressors and the emotions which influence adolescents’ sport performance. Then a relationship model of stressors, emotion and sport performance was established. The weighting values between the factors in the model were determined through a questionnaire. The results show that the effect of stressors on sport performance is reflected through emotional responses. The degree of influence of each emotional factor on sports performance was, in descending order, concentration, sense of achievement, confidence, and anxiety. Finally, some measures of response to improve sport performance are proposed.
