Abstract

This scientific work is devoted to a comparative legal analysis of the most sought-after institutions of Russian civil law in the framework of entrepreneurial activity - institutions of force majeure and termination of obligation, in relation to the English doctrine of frustration, which incorporated the specifics of the legal regulation of the states of the Anglo-Saxon legal family. Within the framework of this comparison, the legal nature of these institutions is examined, common features and differences are distinguished, and practical aspects of application are considered.
