Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the relationship between personal characteristics and achievement motivation among students of speech pathologists. It is noted that the motivation of achievement is determined by personal factors that determine the activity of an individual in social reality. The characteristic of personal characteristics of students is given on the basis of the analysis of foreign and domestic works. A number of definitions of motivation and achievement motivation are given. The concept of achievement motivation in relation to personal characteristics is defined. The article presents the results of an empirical study of the relationship between personal characteristics and achievement motivation among students of defectology, according to which students of defectology, prone to emotional stability, demonstrate a pronounced desire to achieve results. Defectology students with pronounced introversion show independence in the process of achieving results.
