Abstract
Aim. The article presents a review of the literature on comorbidity of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and coronary heart disease on the occurrence, pathogenetic connection with clinical manifestations.Methods and results. This article analyzed the prevalence of the combination of these diseases, suggesting an important role of the clinician in a timely diagnosis to improve their pharmacotherapeutic approach, management of patients. Also provides an overview of the pathogenetic link between chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and coronary heart disease.

Взаимосвязь хронической обструктивной болезни легких и ишемической болезни сердца: вопросы патогенеза и стратегия лечения О. Дані про поширеність ХОЗЛ серед пацієнтів з ІХС суперечливі (варіюються від 4–7 до 60%) [3], що визначається відмінностями характеру клінічних вибірок для такого аналізу. ХОЗЛ є незалежним предиктором смертності пацієнтів, які страждають на ІХС [16]. З іншого боку, серцево-судинні захворювання (ССЗ) є однією із провідних причин смерті пацієнтів із легким і середнім ступенями важкості ХОЗЛ, а наявність маніфестуючої ІХС пов’язана з підвищеним ризиком смерті для цієї групи хворих [18].
