Abstract

High Maternal Mortality Rate in Indonesia, one of the causes is unwanted pregnancy of around 20% in married women, especially not using contraception, and using short-term contraception, therefore to reduce unwanted pregnancies through quality family planning services can contribute in improving maternal health. Where one of the causes of maternal death is 4 Too (too young, too old, too close and too often). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between education level, occupation and previous contraceptive use with the use of the Long-Term Contraception Method in the Central Cilacap Health Center. purposive sampling with a sample size of 99 respondents. The analysis used was univariate and bivariate chi square. The results of this study indicate variables related to the use of Long-Term Contraception Method of education level (p = 0.488), occupation (p = 0.241), previous use of contraception (p = 0,000). The conclusion of this study is that the use of contraception was previously related to the use of the Long-Term Contraception Method, while the level of education and employment was not related to the use of the Long-Term Contraception Method.
